Candle Care & Safety
1. First Burn
Burn your candle for 2–4 hours the first time so the wax melts evenly from edge to edge. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn.
2. Trim the Wick
Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use. This prevents mushrooming, smoke, and high flames. Never trim while wax is melted.
3. Burn in Sessions
Burn for no longer than 3–4 hours at a time to extend candle life and prevent overheating.
4. Stop Use at ½ Inch
Discontinue burning when ½ inch of wax remains. This prevents the flame from reaching the jar base, which can cause overheating or damage to surfaces.
5. Placement Matters
Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, pets, and children.
6. Never Leave Unattended
Extinguish candles before leaving the room or going to sleep.
7. Keep It Fresh
Replace the lid between uses to keep the candle clean and preserve fragrance.
